Just watch out for the ricer-blink.. if the system is not LED ready, you might want load-resistors for them, because the EVIC might think your bulbs are out.

lol.. my neon had ricer-blink, but I didn't care @ the time, because IMO, it gets people to notice when your blinker is on better. LOL

 

Had a extra led laying around changed license plate lamp.

.. i got a different type in my neon, As for the tails, I am pretty sure the stockers are LED anyway.

Looks "softer"...I do want to know what the difference is as well.

 

It is much brighter than stock. Its hard to tell the difference with the picture cause my license plate is not there.

 

If you decide to add LED other areas, let me know how your EVIC likes them :-D

 

The only spot that you should have a problem is in your turn signals. The rears are already LEDs, but the fronts will show the bulb as being burnt out and it will flash fast if you just put a LED in there without a resistor.

 

Yes i will let you know i plan on changing the dome lights and reverse lights also. I may add a light under the hood also.

 

Double post. I talked to superbrightled's and they said they are behind on adding new cars to their bulb finder feature. I offered to help them out so I am going to try replacing all the bulbs I can and let them know which ones work via their feedback feature on the website.


Edit: Just went out to look and see if there is wiring for the race track lights, didn't see any. BUT, I did notice that there is a trunk light. I never noticed it before because I haven't opened the trunk at night. The bulb is this one (I bought cool white) 1 | RL4410-xHP9: Rigid Loop Festoon bulb | $ 5.95 | RL4410-CWHP9: Cool White.

 

Yes, its nice to see that Chrysler is able to spend the extra $1.28 on lighting on cars that dumbler wouldn't allow them to.

I noticed that at least some darts have lights in the glovebox as well.

 

When i replaced the license plate light with led my message center in my car indicates that the light is out. Im guessing its monitoring current from the original bulb.The bulb ohms at 4.6 ohms.I have been super busy so havent been able to work on it.Gonna plug some different type of resistors in the plug to see what happens.Will let you know what i find.Wondering if reverse lights and other bulbs are the same.

Very good customer service, very good quality, etc. I was just in the warehouse earlier picking up the lights and I am going to try and help them get the Dart on their vehicle bulb finder. I will be ordering the interior dome lights sometime this weekend and should have them early next week.

That is a picture of his BACKUP/REVERSE lights which he replaced halogen with LED's. I don't thk anyone who got a stock Dart from the dealer has HID.

 

Did you check message center if it shows light out if so what did the led look like. I used from superbrightleds and it shows light out even though its not.

 

Did not notice the message for like a week until i was scrolling through and noticed it.

 

Just got the message. Not a big deal though. When you turn on the car, it says its usual "parking brake on" and then tells me the lights are out, then goes away. It doesn't beep or have any warning lights on the dash so it's really no problem at all.

 

Nice feedback Lammy. Maybe your dealer might be able to clear the error code or turn it off so it doesnt pop up at all?

 

Honestly it doesn't bother me at all, I actually kind of like it. It reminds me that the computer is going through a system check on the car. It makes me feel fancy lol. I'd be curious to see if there will eventually a way to modify the welcoming message (currently just says Dodge //). The lights look really good in person as well. I'll get a walk around video of the car some day on an actual camera, probably after I change the interior to LED.

 

A walk around video would be awesome. After you get everything squared away with the LEDS I would love to see a video review of it. Heck I'd throw it up on the front page news section for you.
